Booking a boudoir session can feel like a leap, especially if you do not know what happens between "I'm interested" and "I'm booked." Here is exactly what the process looks like at Ishtar's Image, step by step, so there are no surprises.
Step One: Your Private Inquiry
Everything starts with the contact form or a direct email to booking@ishtarsimage.com. You will be asked a few simple questions: which Experience you are considering, whether this is your first boudoir session, how you are feeling about it, and whether you are ready to book or still exploring. There is no wrong answer. The form exists so the team understands where you are starting from, not to screen you out.
Step Two: A Real Conversation About Your Vision
Once your inquiry comes in, the team follows up to talk through what you are picturing. This is where you share your comfort level, any inspiration you have, and what you want the Experience to feel like. Nervous is normal. Excited is normal. Not knowing exactly what you want yet is normal too. This conversation shapes everything that comes after it.
Step Three: Confirming Your Date
Once your vision and comfort level are clear, the team locks in a date that works for you. Every Experience is scheduled individually. There is no rush and no template session happening around you.
Step Four: Session Prep
In the lead-up to your date, you will get guidance on wardrobe, what to expect from hair and makeup, and anything else that helps you walk in feeling prepared instead of anxious. Our guide to what to wear is part of this, but the team is also available directly for anything specific to you.
Step Five: The Experience Itself
On the day, professional hair and makeup comes first, followed by your guided, coached photoshoot. Everything from the previous conversations shows up here: your comfort level, your pace, your vision. Nothing about session day should feel like a surprise, because it was all discussed beforehand.
